New Building Update

In 2018, a new school building was constructed through the generosity of Gar Relief’s kind donors. With the government’s recent decision to send all elementary school-aged children to school in Dora, a nearby village, the new building has been repurposed as a community center and gathering space for picnics, pujas and practices offered by monks from Gargon Monastery, as well as for other local festivities. It will also continue to house the Bendurya Medical Clinic.

Gar Relief is grateful to all donors that allowed us to support Tajuk children's education. Now the new building has taken on another good use as a community center to benefit all Tajuk village residents.
